“HOW CAN I GO ABOUT GETTING MY ART IN FINDER’S CREEPERS?”
Finder's Creepers is always looking for new artists to showcase their work in the Art Gallery. If you are looking to be a part of one of the themed group shows, please visit our Calendar page to see if any of the planned themes would suit your work. You just simply need to email us some examples of your work (in .jpeg format) and we (our selected jury) will decide if your work is a good fit for the gallery. If Finder's Creepers decides to showcase your artwork, you will sign a contract with us for up to 90 days, at which point you can switch out artwork with new pieces or re-join at another time.


“WHAT PERCENTAGE DOES YOUR GALLERY TAKE ON SALES?”

Finder’s Creepers does a 40/60 split, favoring the artist. I pay out the 5th of each month for the previous month’s sales. I feel that 40% is a fair commission as I promote you in the physical gallery as well as online via this website and all of Finder's Creepers' social media sites as well. 



“ARE YOU HIRING?”

Unfortunately, no. This is an independently owned and operated business. Despite the fact that I could use the help, I simply cannot afford to pay anyone to help me! Volunteers are always needed and much appreciated and it looks good on any resume. If you would like to have an internship with a chance to curate a show, please email me. Volunteers rule. In fact, if it weren’t for the awesome volunteers that help me on a regular basis, I would never have made it past my first year. I love my volunteers! “HOW MUCH SPACE DOES YOUR GALLERY HAVE?”

Our Art Gallery isn’t set up like your typical white-walled art gallery. Our Gallery encompasses four separate and uniquely different rooms. Each room has it’s own color scheme (blood red, dark purple, dark grey), each room is dimly lit with spotlights or string lights (to set an appropriate mood) and has approximately 2,000 SF. Our Gallery is also in the basement of a building that is nearly 100 years old, so it definitely has a certain feel to it and it's history adds to the "creep" factor. 



“DO YOU DO CONSIGNMENT?”

Yes, we do! I will take select items into our retail section on consignment. I’ve had several folks offer up their unique collection of items anywhere from a bullet belt and vintage metal tees to collectible dolls, handmade jewelry and coffin boxes. Finder’s Creepers does a 40/60 split, favoring the consignor. We pay out the 5th of each month for the previous month’s sales. “DO YOU DO EVENT PLANNING?”

Yes, we do! We can help you organize anything from a themed children’s birthday party, group art shows, bakes sales and more! I have assisted with or held fundraisers for the Animal Lifelife, the Central Iowa Shelter & Services (by being host to the Des Moines Zombie Walk!), Polk County Victim's Assistance (by being host for an art show), the Fighting for Lee Benefit and for the March of Dimes - March for Babies! I can do everything from  poster design, rallying friends and doing that work that needs to be done!
